Are you looking for a way to change WordPress version in wp-admin footer? It’s helpful when you have multiple members visiting your site and you don’t want to show the WordPress version. While there’s probably a plugin for this, we have created a quick code snippet that you can use to change version in wp-admin in WordPress.
Instructions:
All you have to do is add this code to your theme’s functions.php file or in a site-specific plugin:
function change_footer_version() { return 'Version 1.0.0'; } add_filter( 'update_footer', 'change_footer_version', 9999 );
