Do you want to completely remove the Screen Options tab from the WordPress admin area? While there’s probably a plugin for this, we have created a quick code snippet that you can use to hide ‘Screen Options’ tab in WordPress.
Instructions:
All you have to do is add this code to your theme’s functions.php file or in a site-specific plugin:
// Hide admin 'Screen Options' tab
function remove_screen_options_tab()
{
return false;
}
add_filter('screen_options_show_screen', 'remove_screen_options_tab');
