Are you looking for a way to include future posts in RSS feed? While there’s probably a plugin for this, we have created a quick code snippet that you can use to include future posts in RSS feed in WordPress.
Posts scheduled for the future doesn’t appear in your RSS feed. You can add them in RSS feed with this snippet.
Instructions:
All you have to do is add this code to your theme’s functions.php file or in a site-specific plugin:
<?php /* Include published and future posts in rss feed. */ function FuturePostsFeed($query) { if ($query->is_feed) { $query->set('post_status','publish,future'); } return $query; } add_filter('pre_get_posts','FuturePostsFeed'); ?>
Note: If this is your first time adding code snippets in WordPress, then please refer to our guide on how to properly copy / paste code snippets in WordPress, so you don’t accidentally break your site.
