Are you looking for a way to easily limit the number of revisions allowed? While there’s probably a plugin for this, we have created a quick code snippet that you can use to limit number of revisions in WordPress.
Instructions:
All you have to do is add this code to your theme’s wp-config.php file:

# Maximum 5 revisions #
define('WP_POST_REVISIONS', 5);
# Disable revisions #
define('WP_POST_REVISIONS', false);
?>
