Are you looking for a way to strip down your post content to text only? While there’s probably a plugin for this, we have created a quick code snippet that you can use to remove images from content in WordPress.
Instructions:
All you have to do is replace the_content(); with this code to your theme’s single.php file.

// Strip content
echo preg_replace('/<img[^>]+./' , '' , get_the_content());
?>
