Are you looking for a way to remove the CSS added to the header of the recent comments widget? While there’s probably a plugin for this, we have created a quick code snippet that you can use to remove recent comments wp_head CSS in WordPress.
Instructions:
All you have to do is add this code to your theme’s functions.php file or in a site-specific plugin:
function remove_recent_comments_style() {
global $wp_widget_factory;
remove_action('wp_head', array($wp_widget_factory->widgets['WP_Widget_Recent_Comments'], 'recent_comments_style'));
}
add_action('widgets_init', 'remove_recent_comments_style');
