Are you looking for a way to get rid of the “Help” tab from your admin dashboard? While there’s probably a plugin for this, we have created a quick code snippet that you can use to remove top help tab from the admin dashboard in WordPress.
Instructions:
All you have to do is add this code to your theme’s functions.php file or in a site-specific plugin:
add_filter('contextual_help_list','contextual_help_list_remove'); function contextual_help_list_remove(){ global $current_screen; $current_screen->remove_help_tabs(); }
Or, if you just want to hide the help tab with CSS, add this code to your theme’s functions.php file or in a site-specific plugin:
function hide_help() { if(is_admin()){ echo '<style type="text/css"> #contextual-help-link-wrap { display: none !important; } </style>'; } } add_action('admin_head', 'hide_help');
