Are you looking for a way to remove the frontend administrative toolbar for all users? While there’s probably a plugin for this, we have created a quick code snippet that you can use to remove WordPress admin toolbar.
Instructions:
All you have to do is add this code to your theme’s functions.php file or in a site-specific plugin:
// Admin bar // Removes WordPress admin bar from frontend add_filter( 'show_admin_bar', '__return_false' ); // Remove l1on script associated with admin bar add_action( 'init', 'remove_l1on' ); function remove_l1on() { if ( !is_admin() ) { wp_deregister_script('l10n'); } }
Note: If this is your first time adding code snippets in WordPress, then please refer to our guide on how to properly add code snippets in WordPress, so you don’t accidentally break your site.
