Are you looking for a way to replace the read more link with custom link text? While there’s probably a plugin for this, we have created a quick code snippet that you can use to replace read more link in WordPress.
Instructions:
All you have to do is add this code to your theme’s functions.php file or in a site-specific plugin:

add_filter( 'the_content_more_link', 'my_more_link', 10, 2 );
function my_more_link( $more_link, $more_link_text ) {
return str_replace( $more_link_text, $custom_more, $more_link );
}
?>
