Are you looking for a way to display a flexible link to the home page in WordPress? While there’s probably a plugin for this, we have created a quick code snippet that you can use to display a flexible link to the home page in WordPress.
Instructions:
All you have to do is add this code to your theme’s header.php file:
<ul class="example_menu"> <?php if (get_option('show_on_front') == 'posts') : ?> <li<?php if (is_home()) { echo ' class="current_page_item"'; } ?>><a href="<?php bloginfo('url'); ?>">Home</a></li> <?php endif; ?> <?php wp_list_pages('title_li=&depth=1'); ?> </ul>
Note: If this is your first time adding code snippets in WordPress, then please refer to our guide on how to properly add code snippets in WordPress, so you don’t accidentally break your site.
